JON R. SKULBERG is a Norwegian scenographer and choreographer based in Copenhagen.

Masterclass – Sculpting in time
In this Masterclass Skulberg and the participants will investigate the potential of slowness. Skulberg claims: In a time where the world goes faster and faster, the art should go slower and slower. What kind of movements, images, and aesthetics does this demand or develop?
Key questions will be: What is tempo? How to detain time? What is stillness?
All ages and bodies are welcome. Trained and non trained.

main stage Performance - Everything remains
“Everything Remains” is choreography for a tired body.
A minimal and poetic encounter, an autobiography of physical transformations of sex and gender, pain and limitations. Juli Apponen, the performer, a readymade, with her archive of memories- all material derives directly from concrete experiences such as: surgeries, chronic pain and the physical body as editable material. A reflection on weakness, Everything Remains investigates the potential of the body in fatigue and constraint. What do we do when these conditions dominate? Is a tired body a more interesting body?
Disclaimer: “Everything Remains” is a solo work with a nude dancer and is suitable for 18+

Life is hard and then you die - part 3
Performative Lecture with Juli Apponen
Life is hard and then you die - part 3 is a performance lecture based on autobiographical material. It is an autobiography of a body and therefore unavoidably also about identity. Through a fractional collage of indescribable pains, psychological fashion reviews, anatomical reports of too many surgeries, memories, astrology, some disturbing ideas and dreams and bureaucratic adventures in gender - it will satisfy your curiosity, possibly more than you even wished for.
Disclaimer: The piece “Everything Remains” is a solo work with a nude dancer, hence discussions may involve content relating to nudity and adult themes.
