Juli Apponen & Jon R. Skulberg | DENMARK |SWEDEN|norway
“Everything Remains” is choreography for a tired body.
A minimal and poetic encounter, an autobiography of physical transformations of sex and gender, pain and limitations. Juli Apponen, the performer, a readymade, with her archive of memories- all material derives directly from concrete experiences such as: surgeries, chronic pain and the physical body as editable material. A reflection on weakness, Everything Remains investigates the potential of the body in fatigue and constraint. What do we do when these conditions dominate? Is a tired body a more interesting body?
Disclaimer: “Everything Remains” is a solo work with a nude dancer and is suitable for 18+
